Where did my Little Baby Go?
I swear she was just born yesterday and now she's literally running across the yard and only three months away from nursery. She's already had two black eyes (the first one just healed, received the second today--don't call CPS yet, she fell between my bed and the nightstand this time). Anyway, can't they just stay little? O.k., she's little, but can't they just stay babies a little bit longer? :( She definitely keeps us entertained! We love our little Camryn.

My Maori Warrior
Okay, help--I don't know how to turn this photo. Do I have to do it before I import it?
Tonight we went to our ward Luau at Sis. Mason's house. Everything was beautiful, especially overlooking the Columbia River. The food, of course, was great and we were able to visit with lots of people from the ward--always a plus! The highlight of the evening was watching Sam do a Maori Warrior dance with Kyle Mahuika, Adrian Sandoval, Wyatt Tone, Danny Orton and his brother Adam. They were dressed for the part and pretty convincing. They worked pretty hard over the last week to practice and put things together. Kyle did an awesome job teaching them! Sam said he had a great time. Take a look at the photo :-)
Applesauce
So, today I thought I would make applesauce. I have this nifty contraption that my mother-in-law gave me called a Squeezo. You just quarter the apples, cook them in a pan w/water then push them through the Squeezo. The peels come out the end and the applesauce comes out the side. After quartering and cooking 1/2 a bushel or 1 peck (learned that today) I ended up with 2 quarts and one pint of applesauce. Then I put them in the canning pot, but whoops! The applesauce itself was no longer hot, and my jars broke when I put them in the pot. In the end I had one quart of applesauce. Hmmm. Maybe next time I will make apple pie filling and stop by Costco for my applesauce!

The Happy Harkers Join the Crowd!
Well, here it goes. I am trying this blogging thingy out. I have never been great at even checking my email. How much time do I have to spend on this? Perhaps this will inspire me to clean out my office so I can stand to sit at my desk and post on my blog. :-) We are doing well. Kids went back to school this week and the house is much CLEANER and much QUIETER. Of course, they will be missed. :)
